Endless war cannot make us safe; Poverty cannot make us free.
We cannot truly be free so long as these facts remain:
- 2.3 million (1 in 125) people are imprisoned or detained by ICE, from seniors to infants.
- Workers put in longer hours for less pay.
- The US military mires in more pointless wars that cannot, and will not, be “won.”
- The top 1% hoards over 50% of the world’s wealth.
This is America.
Speak Truth To Power
Every deportation is a theft from families. Every hour in a “justice” system built to profit off of black lives is a theft of dignity. Every bomb built while another human is starving is theft of our shared humanity.
These are the thefts of CEOs, of masters, of white supremacists who want it all — and will divide us to keep it that way.
We must fight back. Black lives can and do matter. Immigrants can and do have a right to be here.
Together, we can change these facts.
What Does DSA Do?
The Democratic Socialists of America is the largest organized group of socialists in the United States today. We are over 36,000 members strong and growing everyday.
We are a “large tent” socialist organization. We welcome people from all walks of life. We’re here to support you in creating a better world.
We believe that the economy and society should be run democratically to meet human needs. We are a political activist organization, not a party; through community-based chapters that fight for reforms that empower working people.
Fight For The People
The DSA Veterans Working Group educates and coordinates veterans, their families, and communities to fix a system that exploits people the world over.
As veterans, we saw deep flaws on the inside and now use our privilege society to speak out, develop solutions, and boost those already on the front lines fighting oppression and exploitation.
